Amy’s Birthday Celebration for CF
Thank you to Amy for her amazing birthday celebration for CF!
Amy, an adult living with cystic fibrosis (CF), recently celebrated her birthday by raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis WA (CFWA). She started her own fundraising page and asked her friends and family to donate to CFWA in lieu of buying her a drink on her birthday. Amy’s small ask gained momentum and she flew past her goal of $500, raising a massive $8,155 in just a few months!
“I wanted to do my bit and give back to CFWA, so I used my Birthday as a theme to raise money….People often say to me, ‘what is life really like with CF Amy?’ and I quite often find myself wondering the best way to explain it! Firstly it’s the most extreme roller-coaster, so many highs and lows with an abundance of loop the loops in between!!”
