Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines
Following on from the latest research, and in consultation with the children’s and adult’s hospitals, we have developed a set of Infection Prevention & Control Guidelines to ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of all those who either visit our office or attend one of our events; this includes people with CF.
Policies
CFWA has a range of policies and procedures to make sure we meet industry standards, adhere to government regulations and our events run smoothly. In addition to CFWA staff, some of these policies also apply to our volunteers, community fundraisers and partners.
Volunteering
The invaluable assistance of our volunteers helps us keep our costs low and maximise the funds we raise to support people living with CF and their families.
Our volunteer policy ensure our volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities concerning the representation of our organisation, as well as CFWA’s responsibilities to ensure you’re volunteering experience is safe, meaningful and fun!
If you would like to learn more about volunteering for CFWA see our Volunteering page.
Fundraising
Our fundraisers form an integral part of our success and enable us to deliver our vital services and research funding for people living with CF and their families.
To support your fundraising, we have produced some Fundraising Events Guidelines which provide all the necessary tools to make your fundraising event achieve the very best results.
We also recognise the importance of raising funds ethically, and have produced a Fundraising from Vulnerable People Policy that outlines how we conduct our fundraising activities in line with the values of our organisation.
