Cystic Fibrosis WA’s 2017-20 strategic plan has been developed with input from a broad range of stake-holders and members. This plan gives us a clear strategy to employ to meet the needs and expectations of the wider CF community.
Our new perspective is ‘profit for purpose’ leveraging technology to improve service delivery. We are re-positioning ourselves as a social enterprise that funds critical research and provides essential support services to improve the lives of children and adults affected by cystic fibrosis.
Our Annual Reports explain Cystic Fibrosis WA’s activities throughout the year. Each year’s report is made available at our Annual General Meeting in April. For a hard copy of our most recent report contact our Finance Manager via email (email@example.com) or on 08 6457 7333.
Like most organisations, CFWA has a range of policies and procedures to make sure we meet industry standards, adhere to government regulations and our event run smoothly. However, not all these policies are just for us staff; some of these apply to our volunteers, community fundraisers and partners.
Following on from the latest research, and in consultation with the children’s and adult’s hospitals, we have developed an infection control policy to ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of all those who either visit our office or attend one of our events; this includes people with CF.
The invaluable assistance of our volunteers helps us keep our costs low and maximise the funds we raise to support people living with CF and their families.
Our volunteer policy ensure our volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities concerning the representation of our organisation, as well as CFWA’s responsibilities to ensure you’re volunteering experience is safe, meaningful and fun!

Our fundraisers form an integral part of our success and enable us to deliver our vital services and research funding for people living with CF and their families.
To support your fundraising, we have produced some Fundraising Events Guidelines which provide all the necessary tools to make your fundraising event achieve the very best results.
We also recognise the importance of raising funds ethically, and have produced a Fundraising from Vulnerable People Policy that outlines how we conduct our fundraising activities in line with the values of our organisation.
