SIM card Helps Lillian Stay Connected in Hospital

SIM Card Helps Lillian Stay Connected in Hospital

Lillian, a young adult living with CF, recently experienced a longer-than-expected hospital admission. With more time spent in hospital than planned, staying connected and entertained became really important.

During her stay, CFWA was able to provide Lillian with a SIM card loaded with data. This gave her access to streaming services, movies, and the internet, helping pass the time during what can be a challenging and isolating period.

After receiving the SIM, Lillian shared that it was “a life saver,” explaining that having reliable data made a long admission much more manageable. She also shared how grateful she was to have access to data during an extended stay, saying it helped her get through the days.

SIM cards are available for people with CF during hospital admissions at Charlies (SCGH), helping to support connection, comfort, and wellbeing during longer stays.
