Meet the Board – Sally Rose
Sally Rose is a busy Board member, serving as both our Vice President and Treasurer, roles she has volunteered for since joining the Board in October 2020. As our Treasurer, Sally plays a crucial role in helping govern our budget and financial management, preparing monthly reports for the Board and being on our Audit and Risk Committee.
Sally is an accounting and finance professional with almost 20 years experience. Formally a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young (EY) Sally has been lucky enough to work in New York and Toronto as well as sunny Perth. She is currently the Group Financial Controller of ASX listed Australian Finance Group Ltd (AFG). Sally is also on the Curtin School of Accounting, Economics and Finance Advisory Panel, for Curtin University. Sally holds a Bachelor of Business Degree, Double Major in Accounting and Finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Secretary (CSA) and Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) graduate.
In her spare time, Sally enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling and pilates. Sally is stepping it up again for CFWA this week when she completes the Bring it On Zip and Climb of Matagarup Bridge, having raised over $3,000 to date.
