Jackie & Aidan’s 65km In A Day Challenge

Jackie, who lives with cystic fibrosis, and her husband Aidan Fraser took on a challenge in May and cycled 65km in a day from Mandurah to South Perth.

The left Mandurah and at only 6.5kms in the heavens opened and poured on them. Then a little further down the road one of their tyres got a puncture and a replacement bike had to be brought in from their support crew. But they pushed through and rode across the finish line in South Perth, raising over $4,000 for CFWA!

Along the way at the 50km mark they stopped briefly at Fiona Standley Hospital, the place where Jackie received a lifesaving double lung transplant just 6 months ago.

Jackie thanked her support crew, friends and family saying “A huge thank you to the people that supported me on this crazy adventure.”.
