Hospital Transition Workshop
An important milestone in CF care is the transition from paediatric to adult CF care. Moving from Perth Children’s Hospital to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital can feel like a big change, and it’s normal for both teens and parents to have questions about what to expect.
To help make the transition a little easier, we’re hosting an online Hospital Transition Workshop for teens with CF and their parents/carers.

We encourage both teens and their parents/carers to attend.
The workshop will include information on what to expect during the transition process, how CFWA can support you and cover some commonly asked questions.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from members of both the PCH and SCGH CF teams, who will be joining us for the session.
Whether the transition to adult care is coming up soon or is still a little way off, this workshop is a great opportunity for teens and families to learn more about the process and feel more prepared for this next stage of CF care.
