One of very own team members Haylee and her partner Shannon are taking on a massive challenge of hiking/running 65km in one day to help raise awareness and funds for the CF community.
Haylee is the Youth Social Worker here at CFWA and her role is to support and engage young people living with CF. She helps with encouraging treatment adherence, building resilience around bullying, promoting positive mental health, goal setting and counselling. She also runs a CF Youth Instagram page.
Shannon and Haylee enjoy spending their free time participating in trail running so they thought they could channel their personal passion into making a difference. They will be hiking/running 65km of the Bibbulmun Track on Saturday 10th October, starting before the sun rises and hopefully finishing up before it sets!
