Expanded Access to Trikafta Granules
From 1 November 2026, eligible children aged 6–11 living with cystic fibrosis (CF) in Australia will have expanded access to Trikafta granules, marking another important milestone in ensuring treatments better meet the diverse needs of our community.
Cystic Fibrosis Australia extends its sincere appreciation to the Hon Rebecca White MP, Federal Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, for her support of CFA and the CF community.
This expansion highlights the importance of continuing to advocate for treatments that meet individual needs. It is a positive example of government listening and responding to the voices of our community, and a reminder that your advocacy makes a difference.
While this is an important step forward, we recognise that not everyone with CF can benefit from currently available treatments. Continued advocacy is essential to ensure every Australian living with CF has access to effective therapies that meet their individual health needs.
