Working with educators at the newly purposed childcare centre was a highlight of the team’s recent trip to Tom Price.
We shared the animation and important message “If li`l one has a wet cough for more than 4 weeks, get them to clinic quick,” with all staff and a group of very keen four-year-olds was exciting to see.
Our newly updated bookmark is now available to over 80 families and staff who access the centre. WA Country Health staff in Tom Price and Paraburdoo will now have access to resources to share with their communities and help deliver the message across the Pilbara region.
Other community groups who are now empowered to share the chronic wet cough message include the Shire of Ashburton, Tom Price Primary and High School and the IBN Corporation who deliver programs and services to improve the lives of the Yinhawangka, Banyjima and Nyiyaparli people.
