Chronic Wet Cough – First Road Trip

The Chronic Wet Cough education road trips have started.

Merredin, York, and Northam were our first towns we visited and what a fantastic start; such a warm, friendly, and passionate community. The rain did not stop us as we travelled throughout the region in what was pretty extreme weather!

A big thank you to Leanne at Merredin City Council, Kailey at the Merredin Recreation Centre and Merredin Tourist Centre. Next stop was York Child Care Centre where we met Anja who was excited to learn more about Chronic Wet Cough and share the message with their families and staff. Louisa from Northam Library and the lovely mums who enjoyed watching our animation , learning more about chronic wet cough and their little ones enjoyed receiving stickers. Our final stop was Northam Hospital where we chatted to staff from Wyalkatchem hospital and shared our message.

Thank you to all community members who we met along the way, and we look forward to visiting the Wheatbelt region in 2023!

Next stop, Newman!
