WA CF Research Collaborative Program- Fellowship Recipients

We are pleased to announce the latest recipients of the Cystic Fibrosis Research Collaborative Program.

Two experienced WA researchers, Associate Professor Anthony Kicic and Dr Yuliya Karpievitch, have each been awarded a fellowship to advance cystic fibrosis research. Associate Professor Anthony Kicic will explore the use of ‘phage’ therapy to target cystic fibrosis lung infections, and Dr Yuliya Karpievitch will use artificial intelligence to help match phages to the right bacteria to treat infection.

This research program is a partnership between the Western Australian Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund and Cystic Fibrosis WA, in collaboration with Conquer Cystic Fibrosis.
