One of our current major advocacy priorities is the need for investment in WA hospital facilities to treat adults with CF. The current facilitates at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital are now over 50 years old. In that time, we’ve seen major advances in therapies, standards of care and infection control practices.
In Saturday’s West Australian (22/02/2025), WA consumer advocate Sophie highlighted the need for renewed investment to bring the facilities up to these improved standards of care.
