Welcome Michelle

Welcome Michelle

We’d like to welcome Michelle, our new Community Educator, to the CFWA Team.

Michelle and her family have recently returned to Perth after a 20-year adventure living and working in the Pilbara, Kimberley, and Central Queensland. She is about to embark on a community-based funded education program in regional WA with regards to respiratory health,  particularly chronic wet cough in collaboration with PCH and TKI.

Michelle is passionate about creating widespread community awareness of the importance of lung health and chronic wet cough and building a network of local navigators who can promote and extend awareness in the community. The shared goal is to contribute to improved, equitable access to best practice respiratory health care for all WA children. She will be travelling through the Pilbara, Goldfields, Midwest, Wheatbelt and Southwest regions.

Michelle is enjoying living closer to her Perth family and immersing back into the Western Australian lifestyle, particularly the cafes, beaches, and the sport. We welcome Michelle. Keep an eye out on our socials to find out more about the chronic wet cough education program in 2022.
