Please see below update from PCH Pharmacy:
Over the last 12 months, in response to pandemic restrictions, PCH Pharmacy has been waiving the fee for medication delivery to patients and families in the greater Perth metropolitan area. This was due to high COVID-19 community transmission and significant restrictions to visitor access on the PCH site.
In line with the end of the WA State of Emergency and easing of pandemic restrictions to trace and movement, the metropolitan home medication delivery service will return to the standard $20 charge per delivery, commencing Monday 13th February 2023.
PCH Pharmacy will continue to provide a free medication delivery service to patients in regional areas of WA.
Key components of the service:
- A $20.00 fee for all metropolitan deliveries, in addition to the normal patients co-payment.
- Clinics should allow 3-5 working days for medication orders to be processed and delivered.
- An SMS will be sent to advise that medications are ready for delivery. Parents/ Cares will need to contact Pharmacy to pay and confirm delivery details.
- Once confirmed, a courier will be organised
- Delivery cannot occur without confirmation of delivery address and payment.
