Owen Takes On The Sunset Coast Marathon

“This year I got to know someone who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, this individual is the strongest person I know.”

Owen Fretwell is training to taking on his own 65 Roses Challenge in support of people living with cystic fibrosis in WA. He says:

“Not only was I given an insight into what they [people living with cystic fibrosis] go through in daily life, it has truly inspired me to do something for the CF community! So, I decided I’ll be running in the Sunset Coast Marathon on September 19th, to raise money and spread awareness, along with supporting the great work Cystic Fibrosis WA does, hopefully allowing us to get one step closer to a cure!”

Owen is hoping to raise $3,000 and is well on his way after raising almost $700 in the first weekend of setting up his fundraising page!

Good luck Owen and happy training!
